Overview

Network congestion happens when many users are active simultaneously, similar to traffic jams during rush hour. In Bangladesh, internet usage peaks between 8 PM and 11 PM when most households are home.

How Peak Hours Affect Different Plans

The impact depends on your plan type:

  • Fiber dedicated packages (BIJOYEE–DURONTO): minimal impact β€” dedicated bandwidth is not shared with neighbors
  • Shared broadband packages (Package-1, Package-2): more noticeable slowdown β€” bandwidth is distributed among users in your area
  • SME packages: no impact β€” fully dedicated, SLA-backed connections
ℹ️
If you consistently see slow speeds between 8–11 PM, upgrading from a shared to a fiber package will resolve this.

How Triangle Manages Congestion

Triangle continuously monitors network load across all segments. Our 24/7 NOC (Network Operations Center) proactively manages traffic and upgrades capacity when congestion is detected. We also operate a 1 Gbps wireless ring as redundant capacity.

If Congestion Persists on Your Line

If you consistently experience slow speeds that differ significantly between morning and evening over multiple days, contact our support team. This could indicate a segment capacity issue that our NOC needs to address.

  1. 1Run a speed test at 9 AM and note the result.
  2. 2Run the same test at 9 PM and note the result.
  3. 3If the 9 PM speed is less than 60% of the 9 AM speed, call 09666-770444.
  4. 4Share both test results with our support agent β€” screenshots are helpful.
